Online access information (English journals)
Online access to English journals is granted only to the subscribers of the (printed) journal as a free, additional benefit.
For non-English language journals, please visit your regional Quintessence office.
Are you a current Quintessence journal subscriber, but have not yet used the online editions? Please visit Quintessence's US website at www.quintpub.com for your personal user name and password to get the most out of your subscription (requires customer account number and subscriber number).
To obtain access to your journals please follow these two steps:
Please visit Quintessence's US website at www.quintpub.com to register.
Use your customer account number (found on your invoice) and the subscriber number '0000' to log in and create a username and password of your choice. It may take a few days until the username and password are ready to use for login.
Please do not share these numbers with anyone, as access to your account by any other party will result in the invalidation of your access code to the online edition.
With your chosen username and password you can access the online versions of the journals to which you subscribe. Visit the journal's website, log in and enjoy reading articles online.
Don't let your subscription expire! You will receive an invoice towards of the end of your current subscription. Prompt payment will ensure continuity of delivery and online services. For any renewal queries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Would you like to receive Quintessence publications? Use this area to order a print journal subscription and get online journal access as well (for each journal you have subscribed to, online access takes one to two weeks for processing).
For back-issue availability, please contact email@example.com, or your regional Quintessence office.

Institutional IP-based access
How does Institutional IP-based online access work?
This service is provided from our US Quintessence office (www.quintpub.com). When a user visits www.quintpub.com/library.php, the Quintessence server checks to see if the requesting computer is listed with internet IP addresses provided by a subscribing institution. If it is, the reader will be able to use all those services enabled for institutional readers. For institutional subscribers, there are no usernames or passwords to remember, and access is available for up to 25 computers at one time.
Problems with online access
If you experience any problems with online access, or have any other technical queries, please e-mail email@example.com.
As a librarian, do I need a username and password to access the online journals?
Individual users at institutions do not need usernames and passwords if you have submitted authorised IP addresses. As a library administrator you will need your username and password to update your registration account details.
I am a librarian and I need to change the IP address details that Quintessence has registered for my institution. What should I do?
Please send IP address details by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
My institution has a subscription to a Quintessence journal and access to the website, but I'm not able to see the full text of articles. I am prompted for a username and password. Why is this happening?
When this happens, it means that the IP address for your machine is not being recognised by our computer. This failure may be caused by one of the following:
